Fortnite
Fortnite is a fast-paced Battle Royale game where players fight, build structures, and survive intense matches across multiple modes with friends worldwide.
What is Fortnite?
Fortnite is a globally popular multiplayer survival shooter game. The game puts you into large-scale battles on expansive maps, where 100 players compete, and only one individual or team survives until the end.
Fortnite's distinguishing features lie not only in its Battle Royale elements but also in its building mechanics, creating a unique gameplay style that sets it apart from many other games in the genre.
Battle Royale Gameplay Explained
In Fortnite, players start with minimal equipment and must find weapons, items, and resources on the map. As the match progresses, the safe zone constantly shrinks, forcing players to move and confront each other directly.
You can choose an aggressive playstyle, hunting down opponents to eliminate them, or play safely by hiding and waiting for the right opportunity. Victory goes to the last person or team remaining.
Fortnite Game Modes
- Solo Mode: A single-player mode where everyone is an enemy. Without teammates, the last player standing wins.
- Duos Mode: Players fight in pairs, randomly matched or with friends. When eliminated, you can be revived by a teammate. The last team standing wins.
- Squads Mode: Team battles with up to 4 players. The revival mechanism is similar to Duos, requiring effective teamwork and strategy.
- Team Battle: A battle mode with two large factions. Players can revive after being eliminated. The goal is to reach the required number of kills before your opponent.
- Battle Lab: A sandbox mode allowing players to freely explore the map, practice building, shooting, and experiment with tactics without being limited by the shrinking zone.
- Arena Mode: A competitive ranked mode for players who want to test their skills at a higher level. Players will accumulate points to participate in official tournaments and events of Epic Games.
- Fiesta Royale: A casual mode that removes lethal weapons and building. Instead, it features fun activities such as racing, boat racing, and using non-lethal items.
Control Mode
In Control Mode, the controls are similar to other Battle Royale focusing on fast movement and accurate shooting:
- W / A / S / D: Move your character
- Mouse: Aim and look around
- Left Mouse Button: Shoot weapon
- Right Mouse Button: Aim down sights
- R: Reload weapon
- Spacebar: Jump
- Left Shift: Sprint
- C / Ctrl: Crouch
- F: Interact with objects
- 1–5: Switch weapons or items
- Tab / M: Open map or scoreboard
