Rat Purrsuit puts you in the role of a talented cat hired to take care of a troublesome rat plaguing the neighborhood. The chase unfolds across three stacked horizontal paths running across the screen. You and your target begin in separate areas, and the mouse never stops moving, forcing you to react quickly and pick the correct route. Each pursuit has a strict countdown timer, and failing to catch the mouse before it expires means restarting the challenge.
Movement, Navigation, and Strategy
Elevators, positioned in the center of each path, connect the layered corridors. These lifts allow you to switch levels and reposition for a successful interception. Additional climb points appear across each track, letting you move upward—but never downward—on those particular spots. Because these access points appear only after traveling a certain distance, planning movement becomes essential rather than purely reactive. Throughout the run, collectible items appear along the pathways, rewarding additional points and encouraging exploration even during the high-speed chase.

Every time you complete a scenario, Rat Purrsuit introduces a new environment with trickier layouts, faster mouse movement, and tighter timing demands. The evolving complexity keeps the experience refreshing and encouraging, refining route planning, observation, and rapid decision-making.
