Wordle
Wordle is a popular daily word puzzle game that challenges players to guess a hidden English word using logic, vocabulary skills, and color-based hints.
Introduction to Wordle
Wordle is a popular English word guessing game that attracts players with its simple yet highly addictive gameplay. Each day, players are given only one keyword to solve, creating a sense of challenge and stimulating linguistic thinking.
With its short gameplay time, Wordle is suitable for everyone, from English learners to those who enjoy light intellectual games.
Core Gameplay Mechanics
In Wordle, players have up to six attempts to find the secret five-letter word. After each word entry, the system changes the color of the letter tiles to provide hints.
Green indicates the correct letter in the correct position, yellow indicates the correct letter but in the wrong position, and gray indicates the letter does not appear in the word. Based on these signals, players gradually adjust their word guessing strategy.
Controls
Wordle uses the on-screen virtual keyboard or the device's physical keyboard. Players simply type the word they want to guess and press Enter to confirm the result.
Word Grid System
The game interface is designed as a grid with six rows and five columns, corresponding to six guesses and five characters per word. Each row represents one attempt, making it easy for players to track progress and clues.
Winning Conditions
Players win when they guess the keyword correctly within the six allowed attempts. When the correct word is entered, the entire row of letters turns green, signaling the completion of the day's challenge.
If no answer is found after six guesses, the game ends and displays the correct word, allowing players to learn from their mistakes for the next attempt.
